Newmarket Racecourses recently welcomed internet sensations Wocket Woy & The Pwoducer to the Adnams July Course for a Summer Saturday so they could familiarise themselves with the course ahead of their return to the course for fun and frolics for Horseplay on the 19th August.
Summer Saturdays combine exciting racing on the track with FREE on course entertainment. For the adults there are plenty of bars and eateries, while families can enjoy lots of free entertainment, Rowley’s Kids Club and a brand new children’s play area.

22nd July – Great British Summer:
Get ready to celebrate all things British at Newmarket Racecourses! Enjoy music, giant deck chairs, donkey rides, Punch & Judy shows, traditional swingboats, face painting and a toy town carousel – plus, of course, racing!
29th July – The Adnams Summer Saturday - Countryside Day:
One of the most popular Summer Saturdays, Countryside Day asks racegoers to enjoy racing alongside rural themed activities including a mini farm, petting zoo, ferret racing, a sheep dog and ducks display, pony rides and face painting!
5th August – Great British Picnic (featuring Paddington Bear!!):
Get set for a great day out with family and friends at the Home of Horseracing. With thrills on the track, there will also be excitement on course with appearances from the one and only Paddington Bear! Plus kids can enjoy a giant balloon show and face painting; a bouncy castle, fun run and pedal go-karts.
12th August – Royal British Legion Day:
The annual Royal British Legion Day at Newmarket Racecourses offers up the opportunity to support a very worthy cause, and enjoy amazing racing and excellent entertainment. This year’s celebrating will have a VE Street Party theme where dressing up is encouraged! With music from a vintage singing trio and the British Legion Band march pre-racing and traditional swingboats, a toy town carousel and a craft workshop for the kids, there’s so much on offer.
19th August – The Randox Health Summer Saturday - Horseplay:
‘Horseplay’ is an exciting new raceday that focuses on the magnificent horse; offering families the opportunity to gain more insight into the sport of horseracing. The on-course ‘Horseplay Roadshow’ helps children to learn through role-playing and interactive learning and will include pony rides, face painting and the opportunity to meet the internet sensations Wocket Woy & The Pwoducer.
25th August – Feel Good Friday:
What makes you feel good? Newmarket Racecourses have picked a variety of favourite things to make you feel great on this amazing Feel Good Friday Raceday! Enjoy a petting zoo, unicorn rides, face painting, sumo wrestling, zorb football and much more!
Jump jockeys, Mattie Batchelor and Marc Goldstein, or as they’re known across the internet, Wocket Woy & The Pwoducer, started creating videos when they were just having fun at work on their phones, now they have over 140,000 followers across the internet and are household names in the equestrian community.
Wocket Woy & The Pwoducer will be returning to Newmarket Wacecourses for the 19th August Summer Saturday, Horseplay. They’ll be on course for Meet and Gweets, fun, fwolics and mischief, as well as commentawy and waceday pwesentations!
