Eqtidaar to canter on Adnams July Course tomorrow morning prior to Darley July Cup tilt

Eqtidaar, a leading candidate for Saturday’s (14th July) Group 1 Darley July Cup, will familiarise himself with Newmarket’s Adnams July Course when he canters on the track tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
The exercise will take place at around 6.45am and the son of Invincible Spirit will be ridden by Ted Durcan during a five furlong solo spin.
Owned and bred by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum and trained in Newmarket by Sir Michael Stoute, Eqtidaar beat another Darley July Cup entry, Sands Of Mali, by half a length in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last month.
The fourth of seven races in the Sprint category of the QIPCO British Champions Series and the racing highlight of the final day of the three-day Moët & Chandon July Festival, the Darley July Cup is a £500,000 event run over six furlongs.
