Owners and Trainers with a horse running on the day are permitted to park in the Annual Badge Holders Car Park, which is located at the front of Premier Enclosure Entrance at the Rowley Mile, and in front of Premier Entrance 1 at the Adnams July Course.
If you are planning to come by train, we have a shuttle bus running at regular intervals between Newmarket Rail Station and the racecourse.
We have dedicated blue badge parking in both the Premier and Public car parks. If you require assistance from your car, our car park attendants will be able to radio for the shuttle buggy which will take you to the point of entry.
If you would like to land a helicopter or fixed wing aircraft at either racecourse please visit www.helipad.co.uk/booking/event to arrange your landing.
As part of Newmarket Racecourse’s commitment to improving the Owners and Trainers experience, 2018 will see the introduction of a two-course meal (main and dessert) at all 39 racedays.
A new booking system has been introduced to help us manage the Runners Lounge more efficiently. Bookings must be made no later than 5pm on the eve of racing.

Bookings can be made from the 48 hour declaration stage. Please have your PASS card number to hand.
A maximum of six meal vouchers will be issued per ownership. Additional meal vouchers may be available for purchase (£20 each) subject to availability.
If your horse is declared to run you and/or your guests will be able to collect your Owners’ badges from the Owners and Trainers desk which is located on the left hand side of the Premier Enclosure Entrance at the Rowley Mile and Premier Entrance 1 at the Adnams July Course.
Sole Owners (1 PASS card)
If you are a sole owner of a horse declared to run, you are entitled to six complimentary badges and six complimentary meal vouchers. Up to a further 10 badges can be purchased at half the price of the standard charge. If you are leaving your badges for guests please confirm the names with Sara Rose in advance of the raceday.
Joint Owners (2 PASS cards)
If you are a joint owner of a horse declared to run, you are entitled to eight complimentary badges and six complimentary meal vouchers. Up to a further 10 badges can be purchased at half the price of the standard charge. If you are leaving your badges for guests please confirm the names with Sara Rose in advance of the raceday.
Syndicate (3+ PASS cards)
If you are the member of a syndicate, the group is entitled to 10 complimentary badges and six complimentary meal vouchers. Up to a further 10 badges can be purchased at half the price of the standard charge. Badges should be individually allocated to members by the Syndicate Manager and confirmed with the Sara Rose in advance of the raceday. Please note the ownership must have at least 3 nominated PASS card holders to be provided with 10 complimentary badges.
The PASS system will be in operation every race day, a PASS card will be required as proof of identification. If you do not have access to the PASS concierge service please contact Sara Rose in advance to arrange admission badges for guests.
Additional Badges (Music Events)
Please note that additional badges are limited to a maximum of 10 and will be charged at full price for music events. If the event is a sell-out, no additional badges will be available.
A licenced trainer with a runner is entitled to two complimentary badges for their guests. Please confirm guest badges with Sara Rose in advance of the raceday.
Jockeys who are riding at the meeting will be issued with two complimentary admission (Premier Enclosure) badges for their guests. If you are leaving your badges for guests please confirm the names with Sara Rose in advance. Jockeys badges must be collected from the Free Pass Office.
In 2018 Newmarket Racecourses will provide two Premier Enclosure badges for members of the ROA Badge Scheme. The scheme will be in operation at the following fixtures:
April: 17th, 18th, 19th
May: 17th, 18th, 19th
June: 23rd, 28th, 30th
July: 13th, 21st, 28th
August: 4th, 11th ,18th, 24th
September: 22nd, 27th, 28th, 29th
October: 12th, 13th 24th
November: 2nd, 3rd

Facilities – Rowley Mile Racecourse
Our exclusive Owners & Trainers bar is conveniently located on the first floor of the Millennium Grandstand. Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee whilst watching the racing on screen or take the opportunity to witness the action from the reserved viewing area overlooking the winning post just outside the bar. The Owners and Trainers bar also provides easy access to the betting ring. Further viewing of the parade ring is available on level 1 and a seated viewing area is also accessible on Level 2 of the Head On Stand. We are also pleased to offer connections with runners on the day access to the Runners Lounge, which is located on the on the first floor of the Head On Stand and can be accessed via the escalator next to the Bistro in the courtyard. A two course seasonal buffet lunch will be served in the Runners Lounge at every meeting in 2018. Please be sure to be sure to book your table in advance.
Please note there is no disabled access to the Runners Lounge on the Rowley Mile, please contact Sara Rose on 01638 675556 in advance so alternative dining arrangements can be made.
Facilities – July Racecourse
The exclusive Owners & Trainers bar is located at the end of the pre-parade ring nearest to the Grandstands where we offer complimentary tea and coffee. Outside, there is a secluded seating area providing a stunning view of the pre-parade ring. Race viewing for Owners & Trainers is located in the Head On Stand. We are also pleased to offer connections with runners on the day access to the Runners Lounge, which is located in Paddock Pavilion 1 overlooking the parade ring. A two course seasonal buffet lunch will be served in the Runners Lounge at every meeting in 2018. Please be sure to be sure to book your table in advance.
A photograph is presented to winning connections after each race. If you wish to order any extra photos please contact our photographer John Hoy on 07594 056996. We will also be presenting winning connections with a Digital Memento so you can enjoy watching replays of your winner on the journey home.
Newmarket operates a smart dress code (blue jeans, collarless shirts, shorts, trainers or unduly casual attire are not permitted in the Premier Enclosure and Parade Ring). This dress code will be enforced at all meetings including Adnams Newmarket Nights.
Regrettably, no children under the age of 12 are permitted in the Parade Ring or Winners Enclosure. Children between the ages of 12 and 16 may do so but must be accompanied by an adult and must have the permission of Michael Prosser, Clerk of the Course. This is a Health & Safety requirement and is covered by the Rules of Racing.
